It appears its a hack n slash diablo style game in the Lord of the Rings universe. Probably just be a hack n slash action game.

Looks very Dragon Age-ish. So I'm just placing bets here, but the combat will be shit, and most of the writing will consist of romancing trannies (probably)

From what it shows on the website it appears to be a linear action fest...no real game specific's at all other than you visit some locations from the book lore.

Actually I did search in both news and general rpg discussion. That thread you listed is in general discussion which i pretty much ignore.

It's not in General Discussion, it's in General Gaming.

It bills itself as an Action RPG... it looks pretty and, as you say, about as RPG as Diablo. Mouse clicking on moving objects, some of which are elves.

Right. At the time I only had 16K in my Speccy and the game needed 48K. I had to work extra hours to expand the memory. But it was worthy.
