Both the Russian and the Polish version of MEPC won't use the phone home (activation thingie) device. However, the Russian version uses Starforce and is localized which means Russian voiceovers with English text, I think? The Polish version published by CD RED Project will use Safedisc as a copy protecion method. This will require you to have trhe dvd in the drive while playing, but it won't have internet activation. The Polish version will have full English voiceovers and text as well a choice for Polish ones. The same goes for the Chech version of the game, MEPC.

I still think it would be nice to know if Bioware and EA would ever remove the three activation limits as 2K just did in regards to Bioshock's activation limits. Oh, well, here's hoping. I stil alsol think that activating over the phone should be a possibility for both people playing Bioshock and Mass Effect.
