I tried the demo a few years ago. It's horribly clunky, or at least it was when it was first released. I recommend trying the demo and seeing.

I tried it a couple months ago, and I don't know how clunky it was before, but it was pretty bad when I played. Movement is slow and cumbersome, and it doesn't help that there's a large amount of nearly pointless traveling around the initial location before you even get to the real game. Combat is sort of Diablo-ish, I guess, but not handled nearly as well; its rather unwieldy.

There may be a decent game in there, but after I managed to get past the intro parts, I really couldn't bring myself to go much further. As I recall, I played it on GameTap, and the full game was free. It might still be available. I haven't checked in a while.
