my nwn 1 folder is somwhere around 30 gigs due to all the custom modules and shit like dat

When Waxworks came out (1992?) I almost fainted. 10 DISKETTES!!! :) Today, game developers don't care about optimising game size. 1TB disk costs like two games... :roll:

There's not much incentive to spend time on optimizing size since

1- most people will play a game, play through it, then uninstall forever, what with the huge influx of new games every day

2 -Nowadays' HDs have a comically huge capacity and are dirt cheap
