Is block direction automatic in MP, or is it an option as it is in SP? Hopefully blocking and attacking directions are forced to be manually controlled...

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
In other news, I'm quite enjoying the Custom Settlements Mod. Download it and try it. It's what Mount and Blade should have been right from the start.

They almost certainly are, if they were not they would fuck up the combat aspect which is MnB biggest selling point.

Wow . . . . It could have made such a nice MMO rpg I think. I don't see a lot of point in just a death match type M&B.

Are there any 'remakes' of classic games using the M&B engine, like Ultima V: Lazarus?

Huh? Tried it this evening. Apart from not even being close to finished it now has settlement management but lacks everything else...
And trying that mod made me "fear" Warband even more. It lacks all the nice stuff I did with this:

I don't think I could stomach a slightly improved upon vanilla, that lacks all the good stuff I put in myself. And I'm sure as hell not gonna spend weeks modding it again.

Ah, the vagaries of modding...

Actually, come to think of it, I wish Piranha Bytes would license the engine for their next game.
