Yeah, the slay mechanic in Ja2 was very cool, and bringing him back by supposing the player spared him in Ja2 was a thougt that I had. But I think I'll leave it to others that usually bring back Ja2 playable characters to ressurect Slay for Ja3 (is there already? there are so many merc mods...)

Bringing back Calvin Barkmore NPC or RPC would be interesting as well, and I made quite a bit of speech for him in earlier mods. But then again, the Joke's been made already. https://rpgcodex.net/forums/threads/my-recent-jagged-alliance-2-mods.141294/#post-7667138

It is also a matter of game design, which Vanilla Ja3 character to declare a target at what point of the game and messing with the quest balancing of pro's and con's of killing certain characters for cash. Is it any worth doing it late-game? There's an abundance of cash. But we also get an XP bounty for the kills...
