Looking forward to it as well. This'll be the first game I've bought in, oh, a year or so.

Im suprised I didnt think we would see this game for a while.

I heard Mysteries of Westgate was supposed to be released first but was delayed by DRM.

I wonder if this means SOZ won't have DRM on it?

This really has been my most anticipated game of this year.

Among the games I have been anticipating, I slowly have been checking off several games because I have grown more and more uncertain about buying them. Having checked off Clear Sky and Far Cry 2, I now reckon that my Q4 gaming will be spent on SoZ only.

There's no way this game will suck. No. Way.

SoZ has the same Secure ROM that came with the OC and MotB. Nothing has changed.

(IIRC, if you buy the Digital Download, it then get's rid of the Secure ROM check, so even if you bought OC and MotB on DVD, then buy the Digital Download of SoZ, no more CD check! yay!).

Only MoW will have the new DRM.

Wrong. It has an updated version of Secushit, the very same version that was included with the latest 1.13 patch which fucked up lots of people giving random explorer.exe crash errors even without running the game or uninstalling.

Sorry, I worded that wrong, Soz will have the same SecureROM that is currently in patch 1.13.

Get the digital download and that removes the CD check, if that is what bugs you?

This is the first game in a while that I think I can justify a pre-order for. Actually, I've never done that -- I used to go to the store on the release date, and more recently most of the games I've bought have been available on Steam.

Anyone know a good site to preorder games from in the US? By "good", I mean a site that will ship the game so that it arrives on the release date if possible, and for a reasonable price.

If not, then what's the best digital purchase site? I've only bought digital copies of games from Steam and GOG, and obviously neither of those will be options for this.
