First comment ^.^, Nice vid this game looks really good. I can't wait to get it, i'm quite the fan of bethesda studios other game called oblivion. The graphics look awesome

Me too. I'm a fan of both really. I played the original Fallout back in middle school. Currently I'm playing Oblivion with 25 mods. It's finally tweaked to near-perfection after those essential mods. Coincidentally I started playing Oblivion after finishing Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel

It's like a science project. Sadly we don't have many comments to go off of, but it seems like people have it in their heads that "Bethesda = good games, good graphics, good gameplay, good everything." So much so that people are praising a half-finished game made by troika a couple years ago that any Beth fanboy would scoff at if revealed as its true self, simply because someone masqueraded it as a FO3 demo. It's hype at its best.

But then again, it could all be a joke, comments and all. Since rereading them, they seem a little too absurd to be true.

I'm annoyed with any thing that blatantly steals, not just Fallout 3. It's fucking ridiculous when no one tries to be even a little original anymore.

Was anything physically removed from an inventory?
Only the anal virginity of the original writers.

"Stealing with pride", but in this case Beth even owes the product. Honestly, everyone seemed happy about the very first teaser, but i felt it was an uninspired copy. Same thing here.

Bleh, like the first teaser, fairly simple, fairly non-offensive, not really bad as such, not really worth talking about... :indifference:

I sometimes wish I knew what it feels like to actually buy into all this hype, getting totally wet and crazy for a tiny bit of video like this.

I like the video and I even think the TV has right to be on.
Lets say it's the VD who started playing some recording with comercial on the begining, he sat a teddy bear and a skelly on the coach. He then went to look at his work. It may not be normal, but hey, he's a lonely guy walking in a dewastated PA world.

Anyway, the video is about to show the quality of graphics, art direction and envionment. All of this is great here in my opinion. I love this runied town, it's way better then the one shown in first trailer. I also like the old TV.

I still don't think good of F3 and read lots of shit news recently even though I stopped caring and reading every piece of info about this game. It doesn't change the fact, that the video is great.

I always thought the FO1 opening, with the TV was during the actual war.

And then they fade out, and cut to the aftermath. That's what I always thought it was.

Almost as unrealistic as a TV that still works after the bombs fell and their EMP waves destroyed all electronical equipment, yeah. Pretty lame.
Exactly. Especially since the city looks like it was hit by a nuke and not some more traditional bombardment. That also explains why the TV still has power although the EMP is most devastating for power cables.
How is the working TV any more believeable? There's no power, there's no signal for the TV to receive if there was power. One is as unbelieveable as the other. Only someone with an axe to grind against Bethesda would say otherwise.

They're both unrealistic compared with real life - both the original Fallout opening and this trailer. But they aren't trying to be realistic, they're trying to set a mood. If you're going to bash one you have to bash the other, or reveal yourself to be so biased as to be incapable of reasoning and logic.
Yeah, absolutely correct. There was no signal. That is why the TV still got a signal. There is also no power. That explains why the TV is still working until they get the power back up which is the reason why the TV goes out for no apparent reason. Only someone without a bad case of stupid would say otherwise.
They're both unrealistic compared with real life - both the original Fallout opening and this trailer. But they aren't trying to be realistic, they're trying to set a mood. One fails completely by showing a TV that still works although half the flat has been destroyed and the other succeeds because Bethesda got the mood just right and left no painfully obvious incongruities in their perfect teaser. If you are incapable of reasoning or logic just follow our example of being biased towards Bethesda. Hail the FO3 teaser!

As usual you fail because you are a FO fanboy. I bet you are biased against Bethesda. There is so much logic reasoning in your post one might even want to invoke Captain Obvious.

What the fuck is wrong with you? OMFG FALLOUT3 IS SO UNREALISTIC THIS IS SHIT!!1
Exactly! Stop talking about FO3 already and start focussing on the teaser that this thread is about!

Any newpost related to fallout is just like torturing yourself and then arguing with each other over which is the most painful way to die and which finger you would prefer to have broken first.

Besides you're all wrong it's fallout 1's trailer that is inconsistant with this which is actually a prequel and it's flashing to a scrapheap in nevada 40 seconds before the war starts which is why you have tv the skeleton is only burnt because someone (probably that jerk in the blue suit) thought it would be funny to set it fire, seriously does anyone have any respect for the dead these days?

After seeing that "Super Duper Market" ad and the Charisma screenshot from the character creation process I can't help but think that Bethesda had only two choices: make real smart/dark humour or make dumb/slapstick crap that a 9 year old can write... and it's pretty obvious which one they chose.
Also, why the hell did I have to enter my birthdate at gametrailers.com to see this video?

I'm not so sure they had a choice.
