The Basilisk guy got back to me on email. Seems like a nice enough guy. It looks to be a trilogy and will most likely be party based in the future. Alpha testing is already going on, so it's not vaporware.

Hopefully VD gets a more in depth interview/preview.

He replied to me as well. We'll do an interview in a couple of weeks. Right now we have an inteview with David Gaider coming up.

Hopefully the white arrow on the other screenshot doesn't indicate that the game will be using that awfully annoying Ultima movement system, where you have to hold down the mouse button and drag the cursor in the desired direction. Other than that (and maybe the overly simplistic, styleless interface), the game looks and sounds promising.
