The fatboy PS5 doesn't look cheap. Ugly yes, but it doesn't look cheap. The slim revision looks like a cheap toy in that photo.
Those Sony Corp promo photos were incredibly flattering.

Most likely. I don't see Sony going back to built-in disc drives for future PlayStations. I expect the external design of PS5 Pro will follow the same design language as the PS5 Slim – it'll just be a bigger unit.
