Then let's hope Pratchett manages to put his typical spin on the 'evil necromancer unleashed' bit. I feel what he does best is to take cliches and turn them on their head. Of course, I'm not expecting much, this being a game and all.

I'm starting to lose interest quickly in this one. Even if it's a decent world simulator like the later Ultimas, I doubt the writing and charm will be there. If I had to bet, this is looking more like a mediocre Diablo clone with a gimmick.
Speaking of Arx Fatalis, wasn't there supposed to be a sequel to that? Or was that the one that was halfway done until they turned it into Dark Messiah?

Ya, there was supposed to be AF2, but then they decided to call it Dark Messiah instead.
