Yay. Someone had to say it.

So what, a percentage or majority of people are douchebags - at least in an anarchy those douchebags are not somehow supposed to hold any "legitimate" power over you... "Yes officer, I will spread my legs for you.... Yes officer, I like it... Should I bend over more?"
My point being, if you have positions of power, a percentage of those are going to be filled with douchebags. The higher up those get, the more you may be fucked - and don't tell me "the system" is immune to douchebags - the system has by now been raped and redesigned by exactly the kind of fuckers that you are afraid of in an anarchy.

That being said, I love that pirate song. I only knew the chorus only flash version so far.

Actually anarchy is the best 'political system' in existence... I mean it would be if people weren't such douchebags. The same applies to communism - great on the paper, shitty execution.
Communism was good on paper, shitty execution. Anarchy is unavoidably shitty because there is no execution, it's all up to the people. And no matter what you do, a percentage of people are douchebags.

Communism was never executed and never will be.

communism is a con, to get people to give up their rights and property, there is no utopia at the end of the day

anarchy is the best system, or maybe an athenian democracy where there are no politicians...just voters

Cept that only worked because people just accepted that landowners were the only ones with a vote. So poor people would be ripshit. Come to think of it, are poor people theoretically happy under any system? It seems like their always going to be on the bottom in any system, it's just that communism drags everyone else down with them.

Any system that has poor people is by definition a poor system. Tribalism is the shit.

Note: Communism does not have poor people. Comparisons with people outside the system are irrelevant.

Does it? You only have to consider how much wealth there is and how many people there are. Would everybody be truly poor in a real communist system? Or is there enough wealth that everybody could live a good life? And wouldn't it be an improvement for most people around the world to go from extremely poor, the watch-your-kids-die-from-hunger kind, to relativly poor, the ooh-I-can't-buy-a-new-ringtone-every-day kind?

I'm still for democracy. A democracy of educated voters, no direct or indirect corruption and free, neutral and objective press.
If the masses are poor and only few are rich (and that is the "balance" that capitalism strives for) then the masses would have the true power in a democratic system. So most "idealistic" ideas from communism would be implemented in a democratic system governed by the masses. :P

Actually, that would be the only way for it to work. Dictatorial political system + Communist economical system = just another tyrannic state.

Up until now, we've only had one individualist system (dictatorship or capitalism) paired with one communal/public system (communism or democracy). We've never had an entirely communal system, politically and economically (democracy + communism).

The Smurfs disagree.
:?: What do they have to do with it? They are communists.

Nope, they live in anarchy because they have no real leader. The Great Smurf (or whatever he is called in English, in French he is le Grand Schtroumpf) is merely a fatherly figure providing advice but the success and strenght of the community depends only of the good will of its members to cooperate. On many occasions the smurfs decided to not listen to him to pursue other goals or try different kinds of governments, including monarchy, that they copied from the humans.

Hackers aren't physically breaking into an inventory and copying isn't stealing so it's not illegal.

Besides Coca-Cola uses red as its main colour, as far as I know they aren't a bastion of communism.
