Greetings,

My name is Darren Monahan and I’m a co-founder of Obsidian Entertainment. I wanted to make you aware of an incident we discovered recently on our backer portal website. We quickly detected unauthorized access to a small amount of customer data, including yours. We were able to address the issue immediately and are taking steps to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

No passwords were exposed but if you’d like to change your password, you can do that here. No financial information was exposed as we use PayPal and Stripe to handle payments and don’t store that information in our systems. The data accessed includes things like user name, email address, IP address, name, and shipping information if you placed a physical order.

If you have questions, you can contact us anytime via support@obsidian.net.

As one of Obsidian’s founders and an advocate for privacy, we take protecting your data seriously.

Sincerely,
Darren Monahan

Also, the idea of having a job you are satisfied with seems to be foreign to many people here, but this isn't unexpected.

If a job was something you're satisfied with, they wouldn't pay you for it, would they now?
Keep your red shirt on, commie.

Payment naturally factors into the satisfaction.

This place needs a Lenin reaction button.

Just speaking for myself, no amount of satisfaction I can get from a job could ever make up for the fact that I am spending time there instead of home with my family. To say nothing of all the video games I don't have time to play because I spend half of every day toiling

The natural state of man is to be out of the home, hunting and procuring resources for the family.

Will he follow in Boyarsky's footsteps?

Still the most fun Obsidian game to play.

Not that thats a high bar (gameplay wise) but still..
I heavily disagree. Shooting in New Vegas, throwing lightning around in KotOR2, and the melee combat in Alpha Protocol are all more fun for me than DS3's janky gameplay. Or at least as much fun as one can have with Obsidian combat, anyways.

Then again, I never tried playing DS3 with a controller (which I understand is the better way to play it). Doubt it would change my opinion much.
