Resurection is bad but at least fun. AVP1 is just a bad fun action flick, nothing more and nothing less. It just gets a lot of hate because it uses the Alien franchise but to be honest it's not worth getting your thong in a twist over this

Also, some mines have really awesome horizontal/vertical-elevators which are insanely large. There's one in Finland which is now abandoned and is open for tourists. There's this one part where the ore-cart/train goes next to this underground cavern, which was part natural and part excavated, it's so big that even with the large halogen spotlights, you can't make out the far side.
