You're right, when I read his "thin nose" Germanic bit, I thought of Neanderthals. As far as wide noses nowadays, many Europeans have wide noses. While I'm of thin nosed anglo saxon British ancestry American heritage, I've known many people with either Polish or French ancestry.
I don't think they are going for exact real world anatomy here. While I think the female meshes are too broad, and the necks too thick, they could see that as not only easier to model in the development cycle (too much time spent on soil erosion), the artistic reason could very well be due to their desire to morph the body types we expect to suggest that this isn't the world as we know it.

I actually believe in freedom of speech, as in people being allowed legally to say things that are racist, but I also believe in calling them to account. That doesn't mean that we should all like each other. That will never happen.
I have mild issues with illegal aliens down here that I don't have with Mexican Americans, but it's because of the illegal nature of the aliens, because they aren't adopting America's culture while keeping their own intact, like all the European and Asian immigrants have done. We are all Whatever Americans, but the illegal aliens I've talked to consider themselves to be Mexicans and one said that Texas is Mexico. No desire to be a part of our country, but they keep other central Americans out of theirs.
As long as people live peacefully with each other and don't break the law by entering and working illegally for substandard wages, then I have no problems with anyone.
Even racists can have a point, even if it's the wrong one to have. For example, Rense's all conspiracy and there is a sort of conspiracy, but it's of privilege and multinational corporations looking out for themselves over the well being of even their original home cultures. That, not an antichrist, is more likely to bring about a world government.
As for the world idea you borrowed from the Christian Left Behinders, I can't recall which SF writer said decades ago that a world government will only be imposed by force, but that's one reason why I hate the idea of a world government, as both an ideal and as a bogeyman.
I'm all for peaceful chaos. Intervene to stop rapists and terrorists in places like Darfur, but when there aren't maurading gangs or militias, then each to his own. Let every people walk in the ways of their gods, and cultures.
As for the Moslems in France, when the Moslem world stops forcing Jews and Christians into dhimmi status, when they stop honor killings of women and when they allow non-Moslem freedom of religion in Mecca, then I'll be sympathetic to their complaints about France, the U.S., Denmark or Israel. Right now, I don't expect to be sympathetic to them anytime soon. They're still stuck in the Middle Ages as a culture and need to grow out of it fast.
