- Why Paradox bought Harebrained?: One of the major reasons is that they're good at nurturing IPs, and using and revitalizing existing IPs.

Looks like Harebraiend also had a shake-up in Q4 last year?

Jordan Weisman stepped down from CEO in October and became an advisor of Harebrained. He found a new company called Project Archer, doing AR/VR thing.

Mitch Gitelman is now CEO of the company.

Mike McCain (director of Battletech, Dragonfall, Hong Kong) left in December.

Kiva Maginn, lead designer of Battletech left HB in October.

Trevor King-Yost is now lead game desinger, who served a lot of design roles (system, content, level design) throughout almost all of HBS games.

Maybe for the best. Each of their new game featured more and more of political propaganda, with its peak being in Battletech.

Kevin was useless from day one, and only retained his job because he turned tranny. He lied on his CV, claiming that he knew the BTech universe very well because he is an uber-fan. Yet any reader of the BTech novels would punch gaping holes in his "knowledge", and any semi-serious player of the game would overwhelm him with BTech facts. Lying on your CV is a good enough reason for instant dismissal.

Mike McCain was good, but good riddance to Kiva.

Harebrained's golden age is over. At least Jordan had the chance to work on his franchises again, scratched that itch. And we got some cyberpunkiness out of it. :salute:
