So it seems Path of Exile is adding its 6th class this friday and to celebrate the occasion it's offering a new public weekend open to everyone. If you haven't had the chance to play this hack and slash RPG, here it is. Why not have a Codexers weekend and enjoy each other's company, on hardcore of course. Let this topic serve as the recruiting ground.

And some bonus butthurt from our dear RPS:

(the passive skill tree) is horrible design with a good chunk of it being +10 to strength/+10 to intelligence/+10 to dexterity transportation to what most likely is another passive skill. It’s bloat that I guess impress some who are in awe of the size.

It’s poor design because there is a huge disparity in what each skill point is worth. You have to sacrifice a lot of points in fillers just to get to the unique stuff. It’s useless padding. There are no alternate paths since every ‘transportation’ lane is filled with the same stuff.
No one is going to get excited when they level up and have to get another +10 to strength.
the rest told him to shut the fuck up.

More exciting than the new class, in my opinion, is the huge monster update. New monsters (like necromancers which raise undead), improved AI, and lots of updates that make monsters use more skills against you, requiring different countermeasures. Things like puncture, which makes you bleed to death if you run away. PoE seems to be shaping up really well.
