It's good to know the thrashing I gave master autist Gaysiderius so long ago has such good payoff even to this day.
So you were the reason he was banned? Interesting.

No. I don't support banning people, even when it comes to safespace queens like your master. I posted in favor of him getting unbanned, in fact, which is something neither he nor any of his minions would do for anyone they disagree with.

You are lying for sure, but this is not a court, and death penalty - sadly - is abolished in way too many countries.

So it is just irrelevant.

Good to see Pinky was at least freed from this dangerous cult!

Why OwlCat never fixes the dan Ice Prison? The Strength check to break free is merely caster level. Nothing can boost this DC. Spell focus evocation, heighten spell, nothing. Favorable magic also doesn't work. The enemy only rolls once.

I wanna make a Azata Cryomancer(cold elemental specialist) but if even enemy casters on normal needs to roll 3 to break the ice, this spell is 100% worthless. The DC of this spell should be 15 + caster level ,not merely caster level.

A creature can break the ice as a full-round action with a successful Strength check (DC 15 + your caster level).
From https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/i/icy-prison/

The DC of breaking the ice depends on the caster level only. Nothing else can change that.

Now, if you want to implement a house rule - as Owlcat Games are doing with Crane Wing - then get hired, propose your change to Mr. Mishulin - and maybe it will be implemented!

I know. As I've said "DC of this spell should be 15 + caster level ,not merely caster level"

In Kingmaker, it was 15 + Caster Level. Element Focus, Spell focus and spell specialization can increase the DC.
In Wrath, it is just caster level. No +15. Nothing can increase the DC. And Favorable magic doesn't work either.

Looks like another spell for the 40 cl legend build

How can you reach caster level 40? I mean, picking a class + prestige would't give CL 40 and most spells doesn't scale past lv 20. Polar Ray for eg, scale up to 25.

That's not a fix now is it? The game has inflated stats and saves. Yeah.

In Kingmaker, on my Unfair build, I had a DC of 43 to break the ice.

Casting in as a caster lv 9(minimum to cast) in kingmaker = DC 24 Strength check
Casting in Wrath at caster level 20 = DC 20.

Nothing else should change the caster level - only leveling.

Disagree.

Spell specialization should increase the DC. For eg, at caster lv 10, the DC should be 25 without spell specialization and 27 with it. In Wrath is 10 no matter what.

Completed my first run on Core as pure Scaled Fist Monk/Angel, 250 hours minus about 20 hours or so AFK = 230 hours. Going Arcanist/Loremaster?/Azata next. I like this ending slide the most, heh:

And I hate it the most.

It's forced/nonsensical "redemption" at it's finest. With a big ole helping of Karma Houdini for dessert.

It's everything wrong with Hal times a thousand.

edit - I use the term redemption here loosely. Redemption is SUPPOSED to have two very vital requirements - self-sacrifice and atonement. This bucket of diarrhea "pathfinder lore" has neither of those. And that's why I consider it to be complete and total shit.

You take two prestige classes, arcane trickster and loremaster.
This doesn't work in vanilla, caster level is locked to 20 maximum. The only way to do this is to use Toy Box to unlock it.

Apparently it works correctly if you use Toy Box but I haven't tested it myself

Favorable magic would not work as is anyways. Favorable magic only affects the saves triggered on spellcast, not saves triggered by the spells in subsequent rounds. It works similarly for phantasmal putrefaction for example. It might be intended.
