They are overcompensating due to their proximity to sweden but this is just a finnish pov.
As for the upcoming games I'm hoping the pc version of Ferrari Challenge will be good enough to dust off the wheel.

Though it's 99% vaporware, I thought Reluctant Hero sounds interesting. But not worth following any progress because there won't be any.

Nothing much on the list in the end. The only real news to me was that Steel Beasts 2 is worked on.

Most of my anticipated games are actually missing from the list. Like The Outsider, Vainglory of Nations, East India Company, or Stardocks Not-MoM.

Where the fuck is Dungeon Hero?

Oh yeah, Rise Of Flight is shaping up nicely.

Why are there like twenty fucking space sim trading games, but only one ISN'T an MMO. Who the fuck has time for that MMO bullshit? Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.

I was thinking exactly the same thing when I went through the list. The space genre is entirely fucked since those MMO tards are all over it. Then there are the screensavers (X3). Where's Elite 4?

What's with all the adventure games in 3d with female protagonists?
Longest Journey clones?

Also, Duke Nukem Forever for 2009

They developers and publishers know their target market; women, both young and old. That's why adventure games feature women in 3D as protagonists...

There's also Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper, though...

I've read that publishers actualy made studies about gamers preferences and it turns out female gamers (who are majority of adventure gamers) prefer to play as female characters, while male gamers don't give a damn about the sex of their characters at all :)

I wonder if a year of pure new IP is even possible? Ahh, the day that a sequel is not made is the day that Jesus will ascend from heaven and rapture the Christians!
