Considering that I cannot continue beyond the first island due to a bug, it's probably better to wait anyway for all the improvements and extra content.

What sort of bug did you get?

The game freezes when loading the Engwithian Ruins arena. It's a pretty common bug and some were able to bypass it with the console, while for others it still doesn't work.

SO did anyone played it? is it any good?

Better than the 1st. Just needs some bug fixing and adjustments to veteran/potd difficulty levels. Though Sawyer should be stoned at least a bit for all the "Ekera, Ac" etc. made up words the characters use.

Even 150,000 copies sold is nothing to sneeze at, considering that they are selling for $50-$75 a copy minus Valve's cut. And it's been less than a month and it hasn't hit consoles or released DLC yet. Sure, its not much compared to a Bioware/EA game, but it doesn't have to be- they are a much smaller company making somewhat niche games. If they wanted to sell a lot of copies, Pillars of Eternity 2 would have been a real-time made-for-console psuedo-rpg like Dragon Age 2/3. Nobody here should want that.

Did two playthroughs, better than Pillars 1 in every other aspects besides the difficulty. Release version had piss easy combat and reputation gains were bugged so that you got maxed out on them in a second. Latter issue has been fixed, didn't want to start a third run to see whether combat is challenging now or not. Will probably be a lot better once the dlc's have been released like the first game was. If you hated the first game don't bother, but I consider it the best game Obsidian has released after NV.
