Where do I get access to lvl 4+ spell scrolls? I am lvl 8 mage now (would have been much more if I remembered you lose all Xp that went into your previous class and I would not level up my fighter to 6 before switching to mage) but only lvl 4 spell I got is Remove Curse :(
Nobody in Hive lets me buy lvl 4 spells. Even the teacher that said something about returning later when I know more about Art does not offer better spells.

Also I cannot get Morte to tell me the truth about my tattoos, even with 25 charisma (used friends spell). I guess you need god like wisdom to get him to talk. Lol with 25 charisma, in PnP people would consider you a God and follow you around and do whatever you want. And Lady of Pain would instantly come down to smite you for that.

So areas I don't access to yet. I am just about to go to the spot Annah found my body.

As for Morte, I am talking about when you find out he didn't read everything from your body, yes the part about not trusting the skull. Then you ask him about it and even with 25 cha he does not want to tell you the truth about why he lied.

You need to find some other stuff to get him to talk, no? Not sure if Wisdom has anything to do with, it might.

Your near them new spells then.

As I said "Don't trust the skull" find out more lies hes told you an things hes holdin back, though you'll need somebody who has "experienced" a lot to tell you the truth. It'll come together as you progress. CHA nowt to do wi it.

Ah OK. I assumed that you just needed a high score of some kind like you need high Wisdom with Dak'kon.

I had a romantic encounter with Annah yesterday, I must say it was done better than all nude scenes in Witcher games :D
I did make a mistake of biting her and she changed her attitude after that :D
Is that it? :)

Also I found it funny she got aroused by walking corpse :D

Nah, I think that's pretty much all you can get from her at that point. A bit more later, if I'm not mistaken.

And try to get some thief levels too and at least enough pickpocketing to be able to... ahem.. teach her some stuff. :kfc:

You're not gonna bone her, sorry. Blue balls, forever alone etc.

Nah, I am just going to stay Mage until I finish the game. I am not obsessed to have done everything. I was more interested in ahem exploring Fall from Grace anyways, what happened with Annah was more of a (pleasant) surprise.

EDIT: PST does not have AD&D dual classing system? I was expecting my mage to eventually get back all his fighter skills but it didn't happen. At least I got to keep the bonus HP from 6 levels of fighter.

I wonder how feasible it would be to create a mod that adds PoE-style attribute check prefixes to PS:T's dialogue choices. Could make for an interestingly different-feeling play experience.

I've always thought this would be interesting, at least for secondary playthroughs. Always useful to make players feel like their non-combat character building choices were actually useful, especially if you're going to ask them to keep spending points on them throughout the game.

The difference between pumping int-wis-cha in PST is already quite obvious - you get more dialogue choices, and they are more eloquent than your typical biowarian brain farts.
The only people who wouldn't notice that are the ones who fail their IRL int checks.

Just ignore combat and try to do it as fast as possible. Also choose non combat options when you can.

For a balanced Nameless wi a high STR and decent CON combat is fairly enjoyable, definitely feel like a bad arse, if you play it same way as everyone else (overly high INT an WIS) then yeah I can imagine it's shit.

Is there even any other argument to run a str/con walkthrough?
Missing content <-> combat not totally shit

So i guess it's just for people who want to see everything that game has to give.
After not having played the game in a while i wouldn't want to miss too much content.
But when you think about it, it's not really worth replaying too often.

PS:T was the first and last game about which I produced (a lot of) fan art.

After playing it, I couldn't express how extremely great it was in any other way. It filled my life. I was thinking about it all the time, I wrote stories about it all the time, I was dreaming about it every night.

Compared with my second and third choices, probably Deus Ex and Morrowind, although there are many other games, like Fallout Tactics and even something like Manic Miner that want a place in that top three, there is little competition. There is PS:T first, then quite a bit of nothing, and then all the others.

So, how does it replay?

Hm. Not so great. It's like The Longest Journey (also going for a top-three spot): the first time it's the journey of a lifetime, but the second time you know up front what is going to happen.

I still replay Deus Ex, Morroiwind and Fallout Tactics regularly. But for PS:T and TLJ, I open a walkthrough, because I cannot be bothered to run around ad nausea and ask everyone everything all the time. Multiple times, even.

It's not that I don't have the time or patience, It's just: seen it, done that.

For a new version, I would want many different story lines, all with separate plots and factions, and cumulating in different endings.

The difference doesn't have to be huge, as long as it is consistent and believable.

Oh, and I skip most of the text by now. I tend to read only the highlights. And i'ts not that I play it so often that I remember it all that well. Just that I know the setting, and it takes too much time.

Not that voiced conversations would be an improvement: They are far simpler, but take even much more time.

Be to the point and offer more options. But please be exceptional and excessive!

But it is not even a good argument since mages have the potential to be so much stronger with the second to last tier of spells having an aoe spell with no limits on the damage per character level and a single target spell with similar no level limit the tier below. Couple that with PS:T allowing you to hit some pretty ridiculous levels it's kind of a no-brainer as far as resolving combat quicker so you don't have to deal with the shit. PST mage was awesome button personified.

Whatever grabs your fancy, I liked that I could go toe to toe wi Hard Constucts an Moridor's Demon without battin an eyelid, and fuck up Vhailor in moments (after he's gid me that STR bonus o course.) An then after 12th level Fighter mastery I could still switch to Mage an get enough XP to become an Archmage an use them spells if I wanted, as well as explore a few level of Thief just for Annah's content.

Don't have to miss any content on this build if you play smart, use Friends for CHA, tattoos an equipment for INT an WIS boosts etc. Or you can save a lotta content til after you get back from Curst, make Sigil a bit more interactive late game.
