La entrada de los juegos de rol en la competición por ver quien tiene los gráficos más gordos, ha dado lugar a juegos tan bonitos como insulsos en el mejor de los casos, como por ejemplo, Oblivion, al que toda la prensa ha calificado como obra maestra al no ver más allá de sus gráficos. Parece ser que el jugador medio no es capaz de entender que detrás de todo ese circo gráfico muchas veces no hay nada, juegos estúpidos que no hacen más que copiar viejas fórmulas que los más veteranos estamos cansados de ver.
