I'm a target audience in theory and yet I was bored to death by all the footage and trailers shown, with the glue gun being the only cool thing.
Way too pretentious for mainstream gamer, way too much stupid for me to take it seriously ( coffee cup simulator, lol ), meh.

It'll flop hard.
you sound like a huge faggot

Ash thanks for the info man, was expecting a lot worse. Will give the game a proper try later on (after all the inevitable patches) :)

You mentioned the latest Deus Ex, which i also haven't tried; i fear disappointment, lol.. should i play it?

I didn't mention it. But OK: it's the usual. Play it if you have ran out of better things to play. But there's always some old game, mod, fan TC project or indie game out there one has overlooked that's probably more worthwhile.

So harsh :(

I actually liked Mankind Divided a lot. In many ways it felt more like spiritual successor to Vampire Bloodlines than sequel to Deus Ex, but I am fine with that. Prague was very cool to explore and atmospheric, sidequests were quite unexpectedly meaty as well.

I liked Mankind Divided more than I expected too, quite sad that it didn't do better. Given the lukewarm sales of it and Dishonored 2, and the failure of attempted Thief reboot few years before that, you better pray that Prey does really well if we want to see more AAA immersive sims.

I played for a couple hours and so far I think it's pretty good. The gameplay feels a lot closer to System Shock 2 than Bioshock. That launch trailer is misleading by only focusing on action, in reality the game is much more exploration focused.

Been playing for 2 hours, hard is challenging enough for now.
That thermal phantom in the trauma center was pretty hard to beat if you just go with the shotgun.

First review:

None of Prey’s elements stand out on their own, but they work well in cohesion. Progressing through the story was a treat. Without spoiling much, there are a fair number of plot twists that keep you engaged. This is backed up with slick controls, responsive gunplay, cool neuromods, and stellar level design.

Clocking in at around 20 hours, Prey is well worth checking out even if you’re not a fan of horror or sci-fi. It might not be wholly original, but that doesn’t make it any less fun.

Here's hoping that this will do better, sales-wise, than Dishonored 2 did.

Well, as far as Steam goes, there hasn't been a major Shooter released since Doom, so it has a competitive shot.

This is and shall always be the correct opinion about Mankind Divided.

But now, rather than a trilogy of Deus Ex skinned Bloodlines games, we shall have Marvel action-adventure games.

In the words of Percy Shelley:

‘My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.”

So on a scale from 1 to Awor, how shit is it?

I'm trying to think how any FPS could be worth 60 Kwa funbucks these days.

for what it's worth:

"15.5 hours to complete" "feels like a return to System Shock with some Deus Ex thrown in, where maybe Dishonored had you feeling like a god slicing dudes' heads off"
