+$250 for a fucking hard cover book instead of a soft cover book? Something is missing. I predict a huge shit storm when they actually start delivering stuff :smug:

The 250$ Collector's book is supposed to be a hardcover now. They changed it in update #16. so the only difference is that the 500$ book is signed.

Wasteland 2 thing seems pointless but hey someone here already got excited about it, so what do I know. Planning an expansion is nice to hear, sounds like smaller niche games are a big part of Obsidian's future.

Grunker Your Facebook post shows a :decline: emoticon as the thumbnail image. Not very reassuring.

haha

The main bulk of our facebook updates are reposted from Twitter. Crooked Bee is pretty busy (as a bee, get it? lol) updating news there, and to make sure we don't double-post stuff most of our FB-updates come through there.

So the reason for some of the odd thumbnails is that the Twitter-FB co-operation can't always figure out how to post the right thumbnail. Once, when we had the connection the other way, the Facebook-page posted the :troll:-image to Twitter

I asked about that on kickstarter, the answer was that at 500$, you get your name and a special message on a tombstone in the game.

Why do you care if Obsidian takes adventage of the stupid rich kids?

I care because:
a) I may be one of those rich kids (well, not that rich and not much of a kid anymore) and I could up my pledge if I saw some incentive.
b) I want Obsidian to succeed, and by that, I mean getting more money.

Well, actually, I don't care but I'm on the Codex and I wanted to find something to bitch about and cooldowns are already an old topic.

Funny that you didn't make an objection against stupid, just against rich and kid. :troll:

Which they haven't mentioned anywhere, not on Kickstarter or Obsidian's own PE page. Still, just a fucking tombstone. At least you should be able to dig those tombs and rape the corpses of the backers as a reward.
