Maybe this will be lesson to them.

HIRE AN ACTUAL WOMEN NEXT TIME WHEN YOU WANT THE PLAYER TO SEE BOOBS.

Wait a second... I think i found an gold mine here. Just hire SMA a pornstar as a main character. It would be the best selling game of all times.

"I'm here today because I am gay," Page told the assembled crowd, which responded with a standing ovation and a long chorus of cheers.

"Whoo!" said Page, before continuing:

"And because maybe I can make a difference. To help others have an easier and more hopeful time. Regardless, for me, I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility.

I also do it selfishly because I'm tired of hiding and I'm tired of lying by omission. I suffered for years because I was scared to be out. My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered, and my relationships suffered. And I'm standing here today with all of you on the other side of that pain."

Makes sense.

Hiding?
Not physically, you understand. If you're fourteen years old and lesbian, that likely means your parents and family and friends have been both knowingly and unknowingly shaping you to act like a filthy hetero for fourteen years. There's a lot that people realize they've hidden or underexposed about themselves just for the sake of following the ideals of others.

Good for her. No one should have to hide their identity simply because they are afraid of being judged. This is the 21st Century, we should learn by now to judge others based on their actions and what they achieve, rather than their sexual orientation, race, religion, political affiliation or whatever.

Sony should be sued until they are out in the streets for this incredibly creepy situation. Why was her body detailed if it was officially never meant to be revealed? There is something disgusting and rotten at the heart of any company's culture that lets this get through

The game itself was fun, but due to this controversy I won't be able to bring myself to play it again. :(

To be fair, that is a reasonable complaint, as opposed to the generic pseudo-turbofeminist trollbait. Though I'm not sure I could consider that a fun game, much.

There's a lot that people realize they've hidden or underexposed about themselves just for the sake of following the ideals of others.

I totally agree with you two on those points but it is just a pitty that most people have no principles, they go with the waves, the very same people that cheered her for assuming she is gay would roast you alive if you tried to challenge their pet views of the world, including murder you if most people felt it was okay. People aren't accepting gays because they think it is wrong to persecute other people, they are only doing this because it became society norm.

They are doing this only because most people are doing this and they want others approval. They didn't stopped to think that persecuting others, in general, is wrong. There are alot of people, maybe most, that are willing to kill you or harm you if you disagree with them enough (and if they could get away with it) on a variety of issues and many of those people are, ironicaly, advocates of gays rights. Well, at least, and advance is that physical violence is rare these days and verbal violence is more common, but still terrible just, try to express those libertarian views you just read yesterday when you have leftist friends, especially leftist friends that depend on the state that don't like to know all the ethical problems the modern state has.

Anyway, Hey! Fuck... I thought I was on GD. Ahh it is Beyond: Two Jasons thread, nothing lost in derailing this crap anyway.:M

You know what I mean.

Publishers have a lot of pull over developers, especially a powerhouse like Sony. There is no way this got through without someone at Sony letting it go.

Just finished the game on Youtube. This is a pretty cool interactive movie that gets some things incredibly right. This is a game about having superpowers and not using them, which is quite :obviously:. TEH DRAMA is quite convincing, especially when it comes to communicating the protagonist's emotional state. Along with The Last of Us, this game is a better movie than most modern day real movies.
