They needed to get Ukraines message out to the world.NOOOOOO I HATE THOSE SHITTY GAMES. I only liked the exploration/sandbox of stalker. The setting is not interesting if you are on rails doing some retarded story

Less features, better graphics.
Turning it into Metro...
STALKER also had a story, but it did not clog the game with cinematics and retarded quick time events.NOOOOOO I HATE THOSE SHITTY GAMES. I only liked the exploration/sandbox of stalker. The setting is not interesting if you are on rails doing some retarded storyYeah. What's the news on this? Any good? Any new features over previous games?

lotsa recycling there
It's an interesting comparison, actually. Like Morrowind, S.T.A.L.K.E.R was very text heavy when it came to interactions with NPCs. Perhaps S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2, with it's fully voiced NPC's and compass directions, will be to the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R what Oblivion was to Morrowind. And who knows? A-Life 2.0 may bring many more advancements, such as some kind of mutant scaling dependent on what equipment you have or how far you've progressed in the story.I always thought STALKER was kinda similar to Morrowind, Idk

If anything doesn't make sense it is the lack of massive overgrowth everywhere. I have seen more overgrown lawns in my neighborhood. Also the grass they are layering over everything at Cordon makes no sense, seeing as though the village and the dirt road is still receiving foot traffic. It's giving off Fallout 4 greenery mod vibes. Someone at the studio must have thought that putting grass over everything at a familiar area somehow increases it's graphic fidelity, even if it makes no sense.
There should be overgrowth, yes. But in nuSTALKER it's in the wrong place. The overgrowth should be focused along the side of the road and on buildings, and areas less traveled. If anything doesn't make sense it is the lack of massive overgrowth everywhere. Just take one look at photos from the real zone in spring/summer.
This goes for the original games as well.
Vanilla Stalkers on master difficulty + some vanilla+ type mods that don't change much except making the game more realistic. Also, literally every notable Stalker mod made in the last 15+ years focuses on the type of gameplay that I described.I have no idea what games you played but it sure as fuck wasn't Stalker.
I remember wounded NPC's laying on the ground begging for help. You could choose to finish them off or otherwise a nearby friendly ally would oblige. You also had things like NPC's avoiding anomalies, moving and looting corpses, and healing their allies. Granted, some of this was only possible with mods. But these are features that should be baseline in a long awaited sequel.Vanilla Stalkers on master difficulty + some vanilla+ type mods that don't change much except making the game more realistic. Also, even vanilla Stalker with zero mods has bullet physics + bullet drop instead of hitscan, and the only point of that is amplifying the gameplay loop that I described, so I'm wondering which Stalker games did YOU play. Vanilla games on low difficulty? You never played any notable mods in the past 15 years, faggot? Try doing run and gun in Misery, Anomaly or any other worthwhile mod, tell me how it goes.

I guess these people are better at their job than "30 FPS at least" Obsidian :DAn article about the game's performance, they say it's so well optimized that the Xbox version maintains 60 fps even though the game is using UE5 features like Lumen and Nanite. GSC is also thinking of adding extra ray tracing features on PC.
