I've seen a few game mods hack this in (loads of NWN/NWN2 modules for this, Co8 for ToEE), but the only game I can think of that actually has one without mods is Arcanum, and that doesn't really get much use because there's so little to buy in it and so little money to spend on the stuff. Is there anything else that uses it? It seems like such an elegant solution to a lot of problems, and any issue of new players not knowing what to get is easily solved with a "recommended" option.
