I don't care as long as game is intersting to play.
Was Disco interesting to play for you?I don't care as long as game is intersting to play.
How is Ash of Gods btw?People made fun about the Chinese and their Horizon: Zero Dawn copy the last few days. But I honestly feel all these Disco Elysium clones are not much different in that regard. They all seemingly are blatant ripoffs who copy the mood, perspective and systems of DE, even the dialogue boxes are at exactly the same place and look almost the same. Remember when journos hated Ash of Gods because some russians dared to copy Banner Saga? All the Disco-copies are the same, yet somehow media loves them.
Decent squad-based tactics game with minimal RPG elements. The worst mechanical aspect is that in combat the two sides alternate between one-character turns regardless of the number of combatants on each side, an element borrowed from that other tactics series (along with the general artistic style). IIRC, the lead developer blamed a bad translation for negative views of the story, but even allowing for translation issues it is at best another hackneyed case of a fantasy story revolving around a thousand-year-old evil reappearing and threatening a cataclysm. How is Ash of Gods btw?People made fun about the Chinese and their Horizon: Zero Dawn copy the last few days. Neat. Thanks. I am assuming inferior to Banner Saga?Decent squad-based tactics game with minimal RPG elements.
