SlavicPunk – the world of tomorrow no-one’s asked for, but everyone deserves to get.
“What are the odds?...” one cannot help but wonder when looking at all those chrome-heavy, all shiny and neat, futuristic visions of what the new times are supposed to bring. Are we really THAT clever and all, capable of inventing those new technologies, revolutionary solutions and visions that would change the world as we know it?

Well, in brief – no.

SlavicPunk take you into the grimly realistic vision of the world that humanity is actually CAPABLE of building. Actually, this is the world we have already built, and its main problem is, years have gone by, and not that much seems to have changed… Not in the actual subject matter of things, at least...

On February 22nd at 0600 CET, Gamefound launches its crowdfunding campaign for SlavicPunk universe game that will only last until March 16th 0800 CET.

The game in question is the tabletop SibirPunk RPG that we are aiming to fund in its English language version together with a number of collector items.

Since the SibirPunk RPG world is part of the same universe as our SlavicPunk: Oldtimer video game, we have decided to create an opportunity for a cross-promotion of the two games.

this looks very interesting (sibirpunk)
graphic in the demo pdf are suberb. Book looks like a treat to read (Alien rpg quality, not sure about paper book). Nice concept, russian "trash-pop-culture-folklore" twist to the standard cyberpunk.
...
in rpgs im only checking game mechanics... and this one looks simple, fast, clever and refreshing.
...
4x atributes : 1 to 6 range = number of dice to roll for a test.
Skilll tell you how much you need to roll to success. and its only 3x levels. So you can have 1 or max 2 dots/cross on character sheet.
you need 1 to 3 success on dice, depends of GM. or in combat thats extra damage (i think).
...
character sheet is greatly thought out, because there are hints how to calculate secondary atributes everywhere
...
no hp bloat, every one has 7 (fragile) to 17 (tough). thats good. will make combat and damage expectation belivable.
...
looks like there are stress points "psyche" - insanity?
and there is "spark" - from description it sounds like overdosing technology can give you some penalties... for using later even more technology (because taking away 6 dice sounds super harsh)
...
looks like good hit is adding damage ( more than 1 dice of success)
there is defense - ability to dodge/parry - which make you harder to hit and reduce damage - without armor you have 1 or 2... not sure if that just reduce opponent dice pool? or do you need to roll and counter opponents roll?
and there is protection (max3) - which is a solid armor.
...
i hope you just add/reduce dice pool depends from gear/npc stats/ skills.... instead counter rolling. im curious how this all works, and how fast really is.
..
I tested AlienRpg combat mechanic and i was disappointed with the amount of rolls (hit, armor, xenomorph blood (yeee... thats separate roll of 10 dice)), and uninspiring tactical options. [alien rpg narrative mechani is best i ever read/check, and nicely add flavor to the game with stress dice mostly]
