Looks entirely like a jury-rigged Black Flag standalone mod. What in the hell are they thinking? It's Ubisoft, they have mandatory diversity sermons and a gender hiring quota. What else did you expect?
Doesn't even have the walking about and fighting on foot of Black Flag, does it?Looks entirely like a jury-rigged Black Flag standalone mod. What in the hell are they thinking?
They're hinting at it having some small islands/forts to walk around on, but they've brushed it under the rug.Doesn't even have the walking about and fighting on foot of Black Flag, does it?Looks entirely like a jury-rigged Black Flag standalone mod. What in the hell are they thinking?
After years away Skull & Bones is back...and it looks just like it did before four years ago.
You'd of thought on foot swashbuckling sword fighting would've been added in, in the four years there hasn't been anything shown of this game, given they're basically just making Black Flag Online but removed the non-ship battle fighting of Black Flag and the lack of that was a criticism the game was getting before it went dark. But nope, you don't personally board ships to take them over, still just seems to be a automatic thing that happens with the press of a button; and it looks like you don't personally participate in the raids either. This is weirder now because they have added towns you can walk around in, and you've got a character you can customize now. Really odd to see this come back and it still not have some kind of on foot combat like Black Flag has.
When people said they wanted Black Flag without the Assassin's Creed stuff they just meant the story stuff, they didn't mean they wanted you to completely gut melee combat from the equation.
Following six delays, Insider Gaming has learned that Skull and Bones has finally got a release date of February 16, 2024.
