I do agree. Part of the reason the game is boring to watch is because coordinated teams play much safer and just try to cs. This is already true in high elo, but in competitive play some lanes are even for the whole duration. An "all-in" leads to the other person recalling and losing 10 cs, wow. Another huge part is that you simply don't see the skill level of the pros because of the cameraman. Imagine watching Alex Ich for the whole match and how he handles every single cs, harass and zoning. But you don't see his individual skill, how he handles cooldowns, how he deals with imperfect information, you just see when he flashes in for the kill because his jungler was around. And finally competitive games have a different meta, I get so excited to see different bot lane combos and then they lane swap.I don't know... LoL matches still pale in comparison to Dota 2 or even HoN, the only cool stuff that happens ALWAYS includes flashing. It's a fun game to play but really fucking boring to watch.
Cheering for your favourite team is fun, but I much prefer watching streamers playing my roles or my champions than watching pro games.
