I noticed the NecrovisioN devs were working on this game called Get Even which is slated for release this year, though I haven't heard anything new about it for some time. Maybe it was discussed in some potato game magazines or something?

Farm51 are potatoes.
And they were working on new Gorky game but no news since 2014 and no sign on their site about it.
