So, World of Tanks, I play it, here's some criticism.

Old arty was way more interesting. It actually forced tanks to seek cover and reposition after firing. Nu-Arty™ matches - if there's even any arty at all - tend to devolve into boring campfests.

World of Warplanes is in open beta now. I tried it. Not my cup of tea, too twitchy. But if you can into fly sims...

The M3 Lee is awful. It's something you must suffer through as penance for eventually getting the FOTM Kwan heavies.

What was the second thing I notice that has changed in WoWP after I log in for the first time since the open beta started, after noticing they wiped all my planes that I got in the closed beta that is (losing the german fighters I can live with since the me 262 is a PoS, but my kwan and jap carrier fighters :( )?

Of course it was somebody typing "siema pl" at the start of the match. I think it is not a coincidence that the match ended for me when someone from my own team crashed into my glorious nippon plane.

The M2 Medium and M3 Lee are the shittiest tanks I ever had the displeasure to drive.
You have not tried AMX-40 yet...

AMX-40 is pretty good when you're top list, or even mid cause of its dome armor.

Yeah I have a difficult time penetrating an AMX-40 in just about all my tanks. Lucky it only has a peeshooter so it doesn't matter too much.

What are you favourite tanks? Mine was the T-44 way back when it was top tier Russian medium.

I have no favourite tanks right now, but I'm just working up the British heavy/medium lines along with the American t21->t71 and the Tiger/JagdPzIV line.

AMX 12t-13/90 are all fun, but in a little different way. Worth slaving on AMX-40 to get to them.
Other than that, I usually go for tanks with biggest guns on their levels. KV-2 with derp gun. SU-85 and SU-100. T82 (level 3 US antitank)
I did not play much medium tanks, but best on it's level was probably T-34. 34-85 and 44 feel a little worse against tanks they are pitted against.

Just inflicted another round of carnage with the Matilda. A shame the UK heavies look pretty poor, despite the fantastically accurate guns.

UK heavies are the underdog. Slow, flat armor, they're a joke compared to kwan and soviet heavies.

AMX-40 is worth slaving on to get the ELC AMX you mean.

At least they don't catch fire when you shoot them in the front. :troll:
Irrelevant when you get set on fire in your deployment zone 5 secs into the game :rpgcodex:

Oh man, that was a beautiful shot. Engine damage, gast tank damage and driver injury on a fucking Matilda!

Speaking of beautiful shots. The other day I kept a tiger detracked for over a full minute. He was trying to come around the corner to kill my tier 5 and I kept shooting at the drive wheel that poked out. Eventually one of my teammates came over and shot him in the rear. But boy was he mad at me.

If it makes you feel any better, I had a SIEMA! in an IS-8 ram into the back of my JagdPanther II at full speed, pushing me into a lake. God damn sunday drivers.
