I recently got into this again thanks to a friend playing 2hu religiously.

Working on doing single credit runs for all the games on normal. They should've been easy in theory, but I have low endurance and poor reflex :( and it's hard to avoid a single mistake which could ruin a well-planned single credit run. Also 2hu 08 is notable for having more content beyond "doing single credit run => unlock extra stage" with its Last Word.

You might get turned off that the "spaceship" is some girls in frilly dress. But to be honest they're pretty tame since they're drawn in manga style that reminds me of more of old kids' anime like Astro Boy and the storyline is surprisingly animu-free. CAVE's Deathsmiles is more embarrassing to play.

Shmups of actual difficulty is off my skill range for now. I kinda remember playing Crimzon Clover some years ago, but only on the easy mode.
