This Festival is a complete Wall of Shit with Solasta being the only half-decent title on display.
I dunno man, Iron Oath seems pretty sweet too. I'll have to give it another shot when I'm not supposed to be working haha

Thanks mate. I stand corrected - Iron Oath was a good play through as well, in addition to Solasta. These two titles are omitted from the Wall of Shit.

Pro-Tip Corporation.
Tried Iron Harvest... yep generic strategy. Failed to notice any hook.
Ostranauts got potential if they fix UI.
Solasta is a Solasta. Great.
Starmancer - new take on startopia? So far nothing to write home about.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Bubbles In Memoria
I'm going to mention demos that I tried, not necessarily RPG ones.

Fae Tactics -Simple, but fun Final Fantasy Tactics styled game.
The Feud: Wild West Tactics -One level demo felt mediocre nu-XCOM, has QTE-stuff and cutscenes which I didn't like.
Company of Crime -Melee oriented tactics. Probably the most promising and fresh of the demos that I played.
Red Solstice 2: Survivors -Slow tempo Cannon Fodder with single character, seems to have MP focus. Not my cup of tea.
The Last Spell -Turn based tower defense. Might be fine at what it does, but no interest for me.

Starmancer has good potential, though it's more Space Haven competitor than startopia. Supposedly later in game you'll get to be evil AI if you want. I'm keeping a cautious eye on it Thonius.

Could they fix this?

Don't think so.
I'm fine with UI and bugs, but this...

As for Way of Wrath - it was so clanky characters regularly stucks in running animation being unable to reach item in world. When this happen in fight and game came to complete unresponse - I shut it down via TM.

[Manual aiming is] the Phoenix Point schtick, and it's here to stay like the 2AP. I've already seen at least 3 games with it.
UFO: Alien Invasion (open source, so it will never be completed) did manual aiming years ago already I think.

I don't understand why game devs want to waste your time like this.

The Iron Oath & Vargus - if you liked Battle Brothers, you should give both of these a try.
