Demo.Graph I totally agree with your analysis. It feels like this game is part of the "great concept poor execution" club.

The court feels very lifeless no reason to favor one faction over the other, heck you are even actively discouraged (you get less political points if court is not "balanced").

The colonisation/expansion part sucks ass, so there is no reason to start in the early empire start setting.

The wars are meh.

A quick update, version 1.44 is out and it has first Steam achievements!
BTW, once those are tested, etc I will be implementing Steam/GOG achievements to Legends of Amberland next :)
