Trailer is horrible, game look horrible, everything is decline...
Maybe it's literal - the guy is a lich with a heart made of gold inscribed with infernal runes hidden in his chest, containing the souls of his victims, there to be tortured forever, fueling his magical powers.

It looks like somebody was forced to remake NWN, after only being familiar with it from snippets of overheard conversation.

Still might prove fun in the end if they at least get the exploration right.

Am I the only one that thinks it feels more like Gauntlet than D&D?

If you're choosing to launch abilities with a gamepad then you know it doesn't allow enough cool customization and strategy.
