While the narration is quaint and somewhat wholesome in a euroslavjank kind of way, I'm fairly sure this is one of the cases where AI-gen voices might come in handy. At first I thought I was watching some kind of reaction-to-the-trailer video or maybe a Counter-Strike twitch stream.

But other than that, the game looks cool.

I guess at this point it's supposed to send a positive signal saying that the game is made by Eastern Euros, so it has somewhat complex gameplay with little console corruption and that it is independent so it is relatively less affected by woke.
Tbh that's just how I sound when I speak English. I can mimic US southern and British accents just fine, but then I'd just be sounding like I'm parodying, since I'm not really from those places. Speaking English like I'd speak Latgalian to my folks is the only way for me to not swallow any phonemes and make it generally understandable, unpleasant though it may be. We feel like AI would cheapen these trailers even more, but we might just end up getting a fiverr guy to narrate for bigger updates in the future.
Looks mid.
Try the demo. This game has a lot of potential. It has a solid mechanical foundation. The combat is enjoyable and promises to get even better. I liked the exploration, the writing is decent, and the world feels authentic. The visuals have a bit of that vaguely "plastic" look, but this will improve. That aside, the demo just felt right. It's unmistakable incline once you play it.
Thanks man! Though even compared to what we have now in the editor, that demo looks like it'll age like fish! It's really heartwarming that some folks enjoyed it as it is, despite the lack of crucial stuff we now added, you'll be getting a really nice surprise once we release the updated version of the game!
Here, let me fix the flat Baltic affect and make the game fit for the turbulent Celto-Germanic soul.

Dude are you on fiverr by any chance? ::::DDD

I made it with AI because I was somewhat butthurt by the anti-AI statement that AI makes trailers sound bad. I can make sound for the release trailer if you think it's appropriate.

So the whole thing is AI? I figured the crowd sounds were, but the main voice wasn't. This is too good!
Cool sound design is currently a huge issue, so unless we reach a cooler level of production I'll keep that in mind! Amazing work!
Everyone "sOuNdiN' f0kin propa Br'iiii sh!" is fucking lame

This is why I prefer even Gothic English voice acting to majority of games I've played with VA.

I'll take some truly bad performances if it means diversity in sound versus cookie cutter shit that could easily be some wannabe drama students doing a school project. Takes me out of the world instantly.
