The Conformist website

The Conformist is a narrative role-playing game in which the player guides Orwin – a propagandist working for the government of Sordland – in an attempt to survive the harsh political environment after a civil war, and discover his own path in the capital.

Based on the Suzerain-universe, players step into the city of Holsord, discovering the country of Sordland and its people caught within the turbulence of a newly established military government under President Tarquin Soll. Players must juggle their propagandist obligations to their superiors, their own ambitions, and their family whilst avoiding the scrutiny of the state – or aiding the resistance against them.

The Conformist is a game about propaganda and political movements, as well as personal struggle. The players will either side with the government or the resistance against them to influence the upcoming election while trying to protect their family and themselves in the dangerous streets of Holsord.

the post civil war setting was actually the thing I liked most about Disco Elysium - the faded propaganda murals, the bullet holes in walls, the execution site, the crumbled buildings, the way people still remembered and talked about the war. also the memorabilia, like busts and posters of Kras Mazov and the accompanying background lore about Revachol.
I'm sincerely hoping that this game manages to capture a somewhat similar atmosphere. if it's going to be a RPG remains to be seen. maybe Torpor Games will release some news about The Conformist after they've released the mobile port of Suzerain after december 8th.

Damn that's ugly. Will still play it since it sounds right up my alley, but the artstyle is pretty garbage

Looks like Disco Elysium. That's how I know this is actually an adventure game/visual novel and not an rpg. Hence this is the wrong forum for this game.

You seem to be suggesting that a future RPG Codex GotY should be moved out of the forum for discussion of RPGs. :M
