Eleusimae, a ferret loving Greywarden from greywardens.com, tries to please her ferret overlords by putting up an article in preparation of the highly anticipated Dragon Age DLC "Lelianas Song".

With a single generation between the Orlesian defeat in Ferelden, and Cailan Theirin’s own crowning, there’s still a lot of bad blood between the newly-independent nation and its former oppressor. As we learn in the Return to Ostagar DLC, Cailan was not only trying to open borders between Ferelden and Orlais to boost the war effort against the darkspawn, he was also making overtures to Empress Celene for a more permanent alliance between the two nations. A diplomatic move, to be sure, but one which Loghain as war veteran and general of the Fereldan armies cannot accept. And while Loghain’s eleventh-hour antics to pin the blame of the Blight on the Orlesians ultimately fail, he cannot be the only one to still feel some xenophobia towards Orlais.

I've seen NWN1 mods with more life then this screenshot. A bare hallway with horribly low-res textures, a piddly amount of characters (can't overwork the poor engine/consoles with too many models! Also shows off bad draw distance), and all the characters are arranged perfectly equally spaced and oriented to make them look entirely like robots.

Also, so much plot and backstory BS for a DLC that will almost inevitably end up making IWD look like a paragon of good gameplay and storytelling.

It's one thing to make bad design decisions, it's quite another to not put forth any effort into your product which appears to be the case here. On the bright side, maybe Bioware's customers will respond and stop buying DLC until it's either worth the money or abandoned(justifiably) as the shitty practice it is.

It even look more lifeless as it supposed to be set in orlais, whats the point to write lore if its to shit on it later with bland dlcs, orlais was supposed to be a court with a emphasize on fashion , extravagant clothes, parties etc. At least thats what it seemed to be , i expected something more like a renaissance setting .

that is coming from the dragon age wiki:

Culture and Society

The current Empress has led a resurgence in Imperial prestige with her focus on art and education. She has also given prominent Orlesian thinkers positions at court. In imitation of their Empress, the general aristocracy has also begun to promote scholarship and the arts, leading to a cultural renaissance of sorts.

Orlesian culture is contrasted to the "rugged" and "practical" tastes of Ferelden. It would be characterized as "refined", "courtly" or "sophisticated", consisting of elegant furniture and fragrant perfumes.

Aristocratic society is vicious and marked by fawning envy to the powerful. Orlesian Nobles often entertain bards in their courts despite their roles as spies, assassins and saboteurs for their employers (usually other nobles). Nobles welcome such entertainers with full knowledge that any could be a bard; the thrill of outwitting a spy is a notion the Orlesian aristocracy can hardly resist.

Meghren during The Stolen Throne was known to import many of his Orlesian tastes, such as masks in the royal courts or Orlesian furniture.

The pics seem to clearly be from the OC(landsmeet) not the DLC.
The fog in the back is depth of field present in nearly all dialogues/cinematics, not a draw distance thing.
The perfectly distanced soldiers form a triangle with Loghain at the head, they're military.

Article is a mix between cocksucking and fanfiction.
If it's a girl doing the cocksucking does it make it any better?

Methinks she reads too much into the DLC. Has she even looked at the description for it?

Assume the role of Leliana, a young bard involved in a criminal ring that deals in political secrets. Accompanying her mentor Marjolaine on a high-risk mission, Leliana soon finds herself entangled in a game of intrigue that she cannot escape with just her beauty, charm, or stealth. The only way out of this game is to kill or be killed.

Features:

* Explore Leliana’s dangerous past and why she joined the Chantry
* Fully voiced cinematic experience brings the characters to life
* Unlock a unique reward that transfers into your Awakening and Origins campaign

Yay. More Leliana combat.

I do believe someone is jealous of her ferrets... :M

I'm sure her ferrets are nice and cute, like most ferrets are, but I dislike the way she is whoring them in an attempt to appear cute.

Don't even waste time with hopes that will never be accomplished. It takes not too long to realize that despite all the blah regarding customer rights, people are still, ultimately, retarded, specially the target audience of developers tied to EA Games.
