Not really but oh well, no point in arguing.

I'd really like it too, don't get me wrong, but unless the game is specifically designed around it, it tends to devolve into raping low-level characters. Which is p. cool when you're the one doing the raping, but anet is trying to promote an atmosphere where everyone is having fun (or some bullshit like that).

Anyway, thoughts on the guild name, anyone? <Machete Rape Gang> might be shortlived and getting banned from all BWE's right away, while edgy, would not be very fun. There's always <Prestigious Gaming Magazine> if we don't want Codexsomethingsomething in the title.

I spent a lot of time in RPS WoW guild, they were cool bunch actually. Largest guild on the server but still quite mature (moderation was quite strict against assholes) so I don't see sharing Desolation with them as a problem.

Not on the BWE's you won't, guesting isn't enabled (for the first weekend, at least).

Yeahhh I mean after launch. Won't abandon my Codexers! Though sadly won't be able to WvW with or against them :( Maybe I'll roll a Desolation character just for that.

Brotherhood of Butthurt is a shit name. Was the reason I never joined the guild in DDO. And it just might not fly with arena.net.

My old guild was Sticks 'n Stones. The short form was nice with SnS (spoken: sins).

But for the codex I'd suggest:
Codex of the Inconceivable
or
Grumpy Old Men
or
The Codex

The Codex Carebears

My experience on a WoW PVP server was in a guild name the Care Bears. Ah man, good times.

Only 12 hours to go

I think "The Codex" will suffice for now, we should just make up a list of names and vote for them. Also how much of us are really there?
