Dead game
That's a look of surprise. It looks fine in motion.
Its a look of suprise it works fine in motion.

How is this game not dead yet? Seriously, that is the most surprising thing to me. Not that it' s terrible, but it is mediocre to such an extent that I honestly believed that in a few months no one would talk about it anymore - but here we are. With these two expansions/DLCs, they will finally make use of the planets that appeared on the game's central map but that you couldn't interact with?
We all know it will be shit.
THE OUTER WORLDS PATCH 1.5.0 RELEASE NOTES
Greetings fellow spacers,
We have released Patch 1.5.0 for players playing on PC, Xbox consoles, and PlayStation consoles and you should see this the next time you launch The Outer Worlds. This patch is required in order to fix specific issues and apply any changes included.
Changes/fixes that are included in this patch are as follows:
- Necessary files to The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos have been added. Murder on Eridanos will release on March 17th!
General:
To continue to report issues you come across and to share suggestions for the game, please visit the Technical Support forums for The Outer Worlds and search to see if a fellow player has already made a thread about it to help reduce duplicate threads. If you find a thread that matches your issue or suggestion, then please feel free to leave a comment and include any details you would like to share.
- Save files from beyond the "point of no return" will now allow players to access the "Peril on Gorgon" and "Murder on Eridanos" DLCs. After installing a new DLC, attempting to load a save file at the end of the game will give an option to instead place the player onboard the Unreliable, with access to the rest of the Halcyon system restored.
- Fixed an issue where Nyoka's face animations could stop updating during conversations.
- Updated the description of the "Robophobia" Flaw to be more accurate.
- The frame rate cap has been removed on PS5 and Series X (not Series S).
If you are not able to find a similar thread, then please share it with us on our forums and then visit our publishing partner, Private Division, and share this issue with them through their support website. As far as I can tell there isn’t a significant effect on the story based on your roleplaying dialogue choices, but there are a couple of big decisions to make once you close in on a suspect: for one, you get to actually guess at who killed the actor, which is a refreshing breath of fresh air when so many detective games are on rails. Sure, no matter who you accuse, the final confrontation is effectively the same, but it feels great to be given the chance to make a call and then find out if you’re right or wrong about it, which is a lot more than Peril on Gorgon did. And of course, then you have to decide what to do when you discover what really happened and the secret Halcyon Helen was killed to protect, and you’re given some justification to go either way.
Gathering information comprises roughly 90 percent of my eight-hour playthrough of this DLC, with the latter being combat. For those who prefer The Outer Worlds' combat (which, in my mind, is quite clunky), you'll probably find the amount of talking unsavory.
...
While I did have a lot of fun attempting to solve the true mystery in Murder on Eridanos, the real solution to the case made me feel like my work was for nothing. That no matter what my findings and conclusions were in the case, the same result would happen regardless of my choice. This is disappointing because Obsidian had the opportunity to create a mystery that, if not thoroughly investigated, could remain unsolved.
NWN 2: There is a trial, gather evidence for your case. It ends the same way.Reviews are out; I will leave the big link dumps to Infinitron but these two paragraphs sum it up for me

Why are you cheating on the Codex?the average Reddit consumer
In which subreddit? I find /r/pcgaming to be more critical than /r/games and /r/rpg_gamers seem to be more into CRPGs in recent times than at the past when JRPGs seemed more popular there.
microsoft moneyAll right let's gather those reviews:
GameSpew 9/10
IGN 7/10
MMORPG.com 8.5/10
Noisy Pixel 9/10
Screen Rant 4/5
VG247 4/5
Wccftech 7/10
Slightly better average than Peril on Gorgon (so far).
A 7/10 on AAA land is more like a 4/10, guess that even the target audience of gender fluid, pronoun confused proto lesbians SJW on the gaming journo media arent huge into it.
Infinitron I hope they upped your salary
I actually can't see myself recommending this game if it was free.
I effectively got it for $1 (because of Gamepass on PC) and I had to force myself to finish it.
i got it literally for free and i had to force myself not to vomit. stay away from this crap, even cyberspunk is better. enough said.
Yeah 1 dollar play thru on game pass and it felt like a job
Don't give those degenerates any money.
Less than 0. I got it for free on gamepass and I want my time back.
(and probably Codexers?
The phobia system was disappointing as hell when I realized how shitty perks areUnless they absolutely overhauled the shitty perks and itemization into something moderately enjoyable I cannot fathom why anyone would bother with more of TOW.
Also the only good obsidian DLC was Honest Hearts, so considering the base game's quality and their track record with DLC's over the years I see no reason to be interested in it.
