I'm tempted to get ROM because of the heavy Snatcher vibes, but damn, that art direction just rubs me the wrong way. All the characters look like ridiculous cutesy caricatures. While Snatcher captured that 80's cyberpunk style superbly, basically copying Blade Runner and Terminator, this looks like it copies furry anime.

The furry bit is actually explained in the game and it's not the "lol, I identify as a cat! RAWR" kind of explanation :)

Apparently at one point Sierra was developing a talkie version of one of its most underrated adventure games Conquests of the Longbow: The Legend of Robin Hood, but the project was cancelled. This short non-interactive demo is all that survived.

That early 90s videogame voice acting.

Doesn't look very different, which is good. Perhaps a bit too smooth though.

At least it seems to look more or less the same as the original game. As long as they don't fuck it up somehow, I'll buy it.

For the few people here (myself included) that likes Jonathan Boakes' games (Dark Fall, The Lost Crown). It's only $5.00 US. It's basically a small "re-introduction to the ‘Crown’ universe, and the people of Saxton”.

I like the Lost Crown game <3 So fuck yeah! Don't know how I missed this though. Should have gotten this to play on Halloween.... :M
