Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.

This game released a couple of months ago and it's a top tier FPS. Every level is a minute or less, and it promotes learning the mechanics to speed run the levels as you improve.

A note about the dev of this game for my fellow chuds.

“I had this little voice outside of myself again say, ‘But you can’t do this. You’re Black, you’re familiar with the reality of AAA games.
This vulnerability extends to race: Nelson is a Black citizen of the USA, in 2021.

I am so thankful and proud to be Black, despite for a variety of reasons, being statistically more likely to die in a variety of gruesome ways,” he says.
And I am Black! And I love boxes! But I feel like I’m opening up door after door after door and trying to leave a room which is designed to encapsulate the full Black experience, which, respectfully cannot contain the talent of me and the other creators that I see in this industry, and I just keep finding myself in that room again, like a fucking Lynchian nightmare.
“And I don’t know how to address it except to say, ‘No, I’m not coming for your Black award. I’m coming for all of them.’”

Someone help me decide: Sins of a Solar Empire 2 or Age of Wonders 4.

Edit: I've played and loved SoaSE 1 but never played any of the Age games before.

Yeah, what? It's specifically listed as turn-based.

I decided to go with AoW 4 since SoaSE 2 looks almost identical to the first one.

Have fun. Been playing it recently myself and I'd say that overall it's quite cozy. Not as much city management (in terms of specializing) as in other 4X titles, but the nuXCOM style combat is ok and the tome system gives its own spin to things.
