I was checking the reviews on Steam and apparently, you have to buy new Funkos and go to KFC to unlock DLC content. Redditors are in a crisis.
If this isn't peak consumerism then I don't know what is.

It looks, plays and runs like an asset flip in unreal engine. It's hard to explain but it's got that very cheap feel to it. Well worth seeing for yourself. There's no decent way to pirate it yet and if there was it looks so cheap I don't want to even try it. The screenshots do not do it justice.

I know a FunkoPop Collector IRL. Male. I do not understand his psychology at all, not just in his infatuation with collection of entirely worthless and ugly toys, but broadly-speaking; on the whole.
Interestingly enough he doesn't quite fit the bill of "beta cuck" stereotype as depicted in that hilarious parody video game posted above either. Still, he may as well just be another species to me entirely. I just don't get what makes him tick.

Live and let live is generally my principle, but people like him with zero taste and contentment with mediocrity does result in the things I love not getting made or tanking financially. But hey, what can you do I guess...

My sister got me Geralt and Ciri funko pops for my birthday a few years ago. They sit on my bookcase. I'm rather fond of them.

How anyone feels compelled to amass a gigantic collection of these things is beyond me though.
