Fallout is too valuable a license for anyone to want to let it go, plin. I might not be interested in as sequel to Fallout, compared to my interest in a brand new world, but when money's involved - Fallout would make a lot more than any brand new world.

I posted it here first, but I didn't think it should go wasted without Visceris having a read of it at first.

By the way, we don't post unverified rumors. Threads don't count, Volourn. Don't be a dick. Oh wait...

You clearly implied it, Volourn. I know you weren't being serious, but remember the time Gromnir came here and you backed up his allegations against us? That's what I'm talking about.

IIRC, the rumour that time was actually part of the news. That's why I had a 'beef' with it. Don't forget I have also 'defended' RPGCodex from Grom when i find the situation warrant it.

Plin, youc an't have frienships on the 'net. The word 'friends' implies knwoing the eprson. I know no one on the 'ent.

that said, i don't hate anyone either. :P

You know, the funny thing about the term 'cool' is that it can be regarded as 'chill' (which is what you should have said) or simply a reference to having an 'icy temperament'. A 'cool' person might refuse to talk to anyone he deems unworthy, for example.

There's a proper term for that. It's called 'friendly'. Rednecks like Volourn don't know what the hell they're talking about most of the time.

I'm not, in all honesty, sure how valuable the fallout license is at this point.
Good rpgs. Bleh tactical sim. Bad console game.
But worth paying money for the license? Particularly when compared to licenses like D&D and Star Wars (or, for fucks sake, Marvel or DC licensing something decent in the RPG genre)
Eh... not sure about that

Btw, something is going on with Troika and Obsidian!
That's not what I heard. Though Troika and a publisher which shall remain nameless...

I remember when their host tried to install a damn virus on my PC.

Terra-Arcanum does that every time I visit the site. Ten minutes ago I decided to look at their Arcanum walkthrough and my anti-virus software detected TroijanDownloader.win32.small.fe. :x

I wouldnt mind Fallout 3 if it was by someone that could actually make it, the only reason i'm really against new Fallout games is there is such a large margin of terriblity (new word?).

Yar. We're working on that. Mozilla with pop-up blocker on does the trick in the mean-time though.
