On a side note this cropping you did shows well just how much work they have to do in the visual side with shaders, lighting, models and colours. These characters are barely recongisable let alone distinguishable. Sure this is LQ and everything but I'm sure the 3 in the 3rd picture could both stand out of the background and from each other significantly more.

This character intrigued me as I saw it during the Kickstarter campaign.

• A boy who seeks only adventure and glory, who leaps blindly into the most ridiculously dangerous situations imaginable and--surprisingly--emerging from them brighter and more powerful than he was before... but whose existence is a torment its own.

• A sibyl with no body of her own, who speaks through the mouth of a man whose mind is broken beyond repair.

undecaf is right, in Wasteland 2, if I recall correctly, you could explore Highpool/Ag Center during the night if you chose not to save the area.

Though I hope they don't repeat the same error and decide to implement a proper day/night cycle PST-style instead.

I haven't looked into it or anything, but from the sound of it it may be that Numenera itself is a fairly JRPG-ish setting. Which is, of course, appropriate for a Torment game.
