It's going to be particularly buggy if they rush it out before the holidays, best to make Paradox feel some financial pain and wait a few months into 2017.

It's been two years and nine months of development already, for a game they already had an engine for, how rushed could it be? From looking at gameplay videos, it seems to me they could release it now if they had to.

This October is really crowded month for game release.
Mafia 3
Gears of War 4
Shadow Warrior 2
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Batman: Return to Arkham
Battlefield 1
Civilization 6
Dark Souls 3 – Ashes of Ariandel DLC
Titanfall 2
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition
Because of that, they've decided probably end of November/beginning of December .

Those are all huge AAA action games more likely to compete with each other though. Tyranny is a RPG and more niche than those.

October is also crowded with Paradox releases. An EU IV expansion released yesterday and the first Stellaris expansion is coming next week.

Seeing Tyranny's SteamDB activity, I think they're most likely gearing up for pre-order now.

And when they open pre-orders, they'll also announce the release date.

November 10. Nice, November 11 is a nonworking day in my country (gotta celebrate the end of WW1), that's one long week-end to play it!

I was expecting $40, so not very surprised. The upsell editions are ridiculous, of course.

Will wait for reviews and impressions from Codex guinea pigs.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Damn end of October/start of November will give me too much gaming content for the amount of time I can spend on playing..!
Still, I'm moderately excited for this one, not expecting something deep, but some good fun

What the heck? It is marketed as a short, highly replayable campaign not a 100h epic adventure... My guess was on 25€, this is ridiculous.
Yes, my prediction was in the same ballpark, 25-30 eur.

This pricing policy makes one to expect AAA production values. For instance, even if it is totally different genre, compare with GTAV, whose release price was 60 eur, and which you can nowadays get for 40 eur about everywhere.

I dropped USD 120 on PoE, but will obtain this once it's -75%.

It's slightly cheaper than The Technomancer and significantly cheaper than WL3.
Well, as Sausage pointed out, you could get WL3 with a bonus game for $20, and failing to catch early bird, you can still get it for $28. I am not aware there'd be a similar deal for Tyranny, but I haven't been paying attention.

Technomancer for 45 EUR?
Every player has their own idea of what a good purchase price looks like, but if you want my advice, I'd wait until the game is fully patched and at least 60% off.
