Ugh, what's with the DS2 news flooding?

The front page is inundated with stories about Dungeon Siege 2. Who cares? I can't even find the stories I care about in hidden between them. I disapprove.

I dunno, I guess part of my problem is that none of the big games that are generating news, I care the least about. As staggerring as it is to see something about another bioware game, or the latest Fable release, it just doesn't interest me.

I guess it's possible I should redirect my complaint against the state of the genre, rather than the site.

At least Fable is worth talking about. Overall, it's a pretty crap game - but there are enough good and bad things about it to discuss what should be used again and what should be buried. DS2 is just more blah crap.

I'm getting bored of all the reptitive Oblivion shit. We need something else to talk about. Anything other than Oblivion.

What else is there?

DS2, Fable, Titan Quest (which won't be coming out for a long while), Sacred Underworld, Avernum 4, and, of course, Oblivion. That's pretty much it.

It's only marginally more interesting looking than the other games, but the M&M game being made by the Arx Fatalis guys seems to have promise.

Well, you could pop down and see the Tycoon News forum. There's umm.. Well, that's all about Nightlife at the moment. But it makes for a nice change.

What about Age of Decadence? I'm looking forward to that. And to the new M&M game, but for different reasons.

Well, what I'm talking about is the overt negativity towards it. Yeah, it has some shitty stuff in it, but the jokes are tired and and I'm sick of all the fuckers in here making pointless Oblivion threads.

Either come up with someone beyond "OBLIVON WILL ROCK" or "OBLIVION WILL SUCK" or get the fuck outta town.

NWN2 has promise? The first one seemed pretty meh, is there somehting radically different going on with the second?

And yes, I'm psyched about Gothic 3.

Dude, that goes without saying. It's the goddman main forum of that game.

It's early to say, of course, but I do trust Obsidian. They may have fucked up a little with KOTOR, but I'm sure they won't step on the same rake again. They said that they'll focus on singleplayer more, so I expect a good story and roleplaying, not just a linear, primitive campaign as was in NWN1.

Its one thing to trust Obsidian, but can you trust Atari? That company is going through some "adjustments", an it wouldn't surprise me if they kick NWN2 out without proper beta testing or lousy support.
