Meanwhile there's another even MORE hidden easter egg in the game, which as far as I know only 1 person has ever discovered in the years since Lazarus released (I'm sure others have found it, but only one has told me so). That one involves the character Hazael of Skara Brae, but I'll say no more than that.

Hazael is you, isn't he?

Yep, he is. Or the me of several years ago, at least. Just as Lord British always had to be killed in some special manner in the Ultima games, there's only one way to kill poor Hazael.
Ah, here we go:

Should a female Avatar speak with Hazael with five other female companions in tow, the young ranger would be so flabbergasted than he would be left unable to speak. Ashamed about his inability to converse with women, the young ranger would take his own life.

That's actually a pretty awesome secret. I remember Shar-Teel in Baldur's Gate having a totally different piece of dialogue if you had an all female party. One of those Easter eggs that hardly anyone finds just by accident.

I've never played an all female party in Lazarus, and I've played it 3 times. I guess I'll have to go all GIRL POWER next time....

Btw, I did another brief interview on Lazarus recently for the other Codex, if anybody here is interested. There's a fair amount of overlap with the interview that spawned this thread, but a few new bits as well.
